AZ Trip 2009 con.

Arizona Landscaping.

This is the back yard...fake grass.

Wow! That's a lot of cows!

Daddy and daughter.
Axel loved the pool and loved hanging out with Lane and Alesha.
Splash!
Axel loved helping Grammie make orange juice almost as much as drinking it. :)
We went to an Olive Mill to take a tour and get some yummy samples. I was pretty sceptical about trying the stuffed olives because I've never tasted an olive I've liked, but I tried one and couldn't stop. I actually liked them. It was quite exciting and no I'm not pregnant. :)
The whole crew minus Lane. Actually all these pictures here are compliments of Lane. Thank-you Lane!
Axel's boots....he loves them and so do I...they're so cute.
Hats!
What!?
Playing with the doggy door..pretty excited about it.
Smile!
Our little chunky monkey.
Family photo before meeting. I had just woke up from a nap. Axel was eating a snack. Daddy is being goofy...Adelynn was the only one ready.
The whole crew.
Organ Stop Pizza.
I love this place...as you can see we are pretty excited.
Adelynn wasn't so sure.
Axel and Lane seem to like it too.
Auntie Alesha and Axel in the community room at Mike and Lois's.
That's all folks!!

AZ Trip 2009

Adelynn concentrating very hard to get the fork in her mouth.
Arizona oranges are delicious. I think this was pretty close to being Axel's favorite thing about AZ. There were orange balls everywhere and he could eat them.

Our very romantic date night. This is us at sunset on our hike.

Over looking Phoenix.

Surprise package

Papa and Grammie sent us a package. I let Axel open it and boy was he excited to see what was inside.

This last Tues we just got back from a week long trip to AZ to visit Papa and Grammie. It was a wonderful trip. It was also good timing because we missed a really cold week here in MN. We ended up going to the pool almost everyday. Axel loved it! He seems to miss the pool now that we are home because every time I wash dishes or run a bath he gets all excited and says "blow bubbles!" He is really started to get the hang of this talking thing. The other day he was running around and he farted. He stopped, laughed a little, thought about it and then patted his butt and said, "blow bubbles."

The only thing that frustrated me a little on our trip was finding out that Adelynn won't take a bottle. Kent and I had a date night and left the kids with Mike, Lois, Lane and Alesha. On the way home I looked at my phone and noticed that I had a message. It was Lois sounding a little stressed telling my that they have tried everything and Adelynn won't take her bottle and in the back ground you could hear her screaming. Good thing it was a absolutely wonderful night out with Kent because it may be awhile before I get another one. :)

The flight there and back also went really well. Adelynn was a wonderful flier. Nursing when she needed to and sleeping most the flight. Axel also seemed to stay pretty entertained. At the end of the flight when we were getting ready to go he said "all done" then preceded to blow kisses to everyone around us and say "bye."

At home here Axel and I were looking back at pictures from our trip. I asked him if he could say Lane and he did. I was surprised so I continued to ask him if he could say everyone's names and he did pretty clearly. I'm going to try and get a video of this one of these days and post it here. I also have many pictures from our trip that I'll try and post soon.

Axel found someones big tennis shoes in the closet and decided to take them for a test run.

All the boys were playing with their Nintendos so Axel found the Yahtzee game I was playing with and hopped up by them to be like all the other little boys.
