Surprise package

Papa and Grammie sent us a package. I let Axel open it and boy was he excited to see what was inside.

This last Tues we just got back from a week long trip to AZ to visit Papa and Grammie. It was a wonderful trip. It was also good timing because we missed a really cold week here in MN. We ended up going to the pool almost everyday. Axel loved it! He seems to miss the pool now that we are home because every time I wash dishes or run a bath he gets all excited and says "blow bubbles!" He is really started to get the hang of this talking thing. The other day he was running around and he farted. He stopped, laughed a little, thought about it and then patted his butt and said, "blow bubbles."

The only thing that frustrated me a little on our trip was finding out that Adelynn won't take a bottle. Kent and I had a date night and left the kids with Mike, Lois, Lane and Alesha. On the way home I looked at my phone and noticed that I had a message. It was Lois sounding a little stressed telling my that they have tried everything and Adelynn won't take her bottle and in the back ground you could hear her screaming. Good thing it was a absolutely wonderful night out with Kent because it may be awhile before I get another one. :)

The flight there and back also went really well. Adelynn was a wonderful flier. Nursing when she needed to and sleeping most the flight. Axel also seemed to stay pretty entertained. At the end of the flight when we were getting ready to go he said "all done" then preceded to blow kisses to everyone around us and say "bye."

At home here Axel and I were looking back at pictures from our trip. I asked him if he could say Lane and he did. I was surprised so I continued to ask him if he could say everyone's names and he did pretty clearly. I'm going to try and get a video of this one of these days and post it here. I also have many pictures from our trip that I'll try and post soon.
